I can feel it in the air. It is that time of year again. The leaves are changing colors and falling from the trees. Football is being played throughout the country. And, "fair time" is just around the corner. Most everyone loves the fair, although I do have a few friends that say they are scared of "Carnies." And no matter the size of your local fair there is usually plenty to see and experience. I grew up in a small town in southwest Louisiana and our parish fair seemed pretty big to me when I was younger, but the annual Coastal Carolina Fair in the suburbs of Charleston, SC dwarfs anything I experienced as a child.
The Coastal Carolina fair is like a traveling amusement park. There is a ton of food, rides, games exhibits, and even concerts to experience. Here is a link to the schedule and events of the 2009 Coastal Carolina Fair.
