Hanahan SC Real Estate
Hanahan is a suburb town of Charleston South Carolina. It is primarily a residential town in which the residents primarily work in neighboring cities. The town limits are defined primarily by the Goose Creek Reservoir, which the town surrounds. In terms of real estate the city can be divided into old Hanahan (with homes 20 years and older) and new Hanahan. Old Hanahan is located on or near Yeamans Hall Rd and Murray Rd as well as other popular neighborhoods such as Otranto. New Hanahan is primarily that of Tanner Plantation, located on the north east side of the Goose Creek Reservoir on Foster Creek Rd.
Determining where you want to live in Hanahan depends on what you are looking for. Old Hanahan offers older homes (many are brick) on larger lots. New Hanahan offers newer and often larger homes, but the lots tend to be a bit smaller.
